Unknown Fields collaborator Nelly Ben Hayoun has written a series of blog entries for Domus, the latest of which (fittingly) covers our visit to Baikonur, where she donned her spacesuit and came face-to-face with the Soviet space programme – which inspired her most famous piece, the Soyuz chair. great images come courtesy of fellow travelers like this one by Bryan Allen, showing the surreal interior of the hotel where cosmonauts (and now all US astronauts) stay before heading out to the launch pads and onwards to outer space

following a night/day/night on the train and a rainy final day in Astana, the Unknown Fields division has now checked in for our flight to Kiev and points beyond: London, Athens, Berkeley, Amsterdam, Providence, Paris…
